The braces of the exoskeleton are the vital connection between man and machine. They must be strong to deliver the lifting and pushing forces of the actuators to the pilot. They must be light weight to make the system slim and maneuverable. They must be comfortable to alleviate any potential injury to the pilot.

We have developed a new concept for custom fit exoskeleton braces (patent pending) using 3D scanned data of the pilot’s body geometry to drive the design of a lightweight, reinforced carbon fiber bracing that doubles as the exoskeleton frame work.
